The Town Hall of Sanlúcar de Barrameda corresponds to the old Orleans Palace, built between 1860 and 1870 by the Dukes of Montpensier as a summer residence. The complex is a monument with comprehensive protection registered in the General Catalog of the PHA, and is inserted in an urban context with unique historical value.
The preliminary project aims to request aid from the Program to Promote the Rehabilitation of Public Buildings (PIREP) within the framework of the “Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan – Financed by the European Union_Next GenerationEU”, and manages to reduce energy demand 65% non-renewable primary.
