Business incubator in Huelva

We are embarking on an exciting new project in El Almendro, a town located in the province of Huelva. This is the expansion of an existing business incubator, nestled within a consolidated urban fabric, where the plot is almost entirely within party walls.

The project includes the partial renovation of the existing shopping arcade, which will provide access to the new expansion space. The connection leads to a common living space. It will assume the irregularities of the plot and leads to the the various premises where the micro-businesses will be located. The structure, although simple, is dotted with patios that provide light and ventilation. Furthermore, they allow both the premises and the distribution atrium to enjoy the native vegetation, such as the existing olive tree or new species to be introduced on the currently rocky and vacant land.

The pitched roofs seek to resemble the traditional urban landscape, which contrasts with the flat green roof, which has clear bioclimatic functions like reducing the albedo effect or increasing the insulation capacity of the envelope. We are also researching pre-industrialized systems that can overcome access difficulties and streamline construction process.
